I'm using my Mac and my Brother MFC-7860DWon the same wifi network.
When I turn on my Brother and try to scan from the keypad (but not the ControlCenter) I get a message saying :'Do you want the application 'NETserver.app' to accept incoming network connections?'. I spoke to Brother and tried to resolve the problem by going to my Mac System Preferences>Security&Privacy>Firewall>Firewall options and including NETserver in the list to 'allow incoming collections' but that didn't help.
The problem started after I made some Settings changes to use the 'Remote Disk' feature on Mac to use the CD drive of my Windows Vista laptop and I don't remember exactly what changes I made.

Mac el capitan os download. VirtualBox network adapter settings allow you to change the MAC address of each virtual NIC, plug or unplug the virtual network cable, and select the network mode. Setting the network mode for a virtual network adapter is one of the most interesting and important parts of VirtualBox network settings.

- Mac OS X has a build-in firewall, which constantly asks me, if I want to allow syncthing to accept incoming network connections in form of a pop-up window. Usually, this only is asked once for an application, but for some reason this pop-up appears at least 4 times a day.
- Wake for network access, power management and FileVault. In order for your Mac to respond to incoming connections while it is asleep, make sure to enable Wake for Network Access in System Preferences Energy Saver. If your Mac is a MacBook, ensure that it is plugged into a power source or it may not wake up.
Any advice?
